Pastor Harley Johnson

Pastor Harley Johnson was saved just before his twentieth birthday. Before going into the ministry he worked as a lumberjack, a farmer, and even sold Fuller Brushes. He is a veteran missionary pastor who has served the Lord in Utah for over thirty years. He attended Bob Jones University, Los Angeles Pacific College, Biola College, and has done graduate work at Northland Baptist Bible College. He is on the Advisory Board of Northwest Baptist Missions. He also serves as a board member of Utah Independent Baptist Camp in the mountains above Ephrium, Utah. The camp focuses its ministry on young people, but also includes adults in this high mountain setting.

Pastor Johnson believes that every word of the Bible is inspired by God and that the solution to every situation in life is dealt with in the Scriptures. He has designed special Bible lessons that target the need of the unsaved and particularly those confused by LDS doctrine. He desires to teach people the clear message of the Bible so that they will be prepared to stand against the wiles of the devil unique in Utah. His ministry focuses on developing people to be more Christ-like.
